Luíonn Scoil an tSratha Mhóir i gceantar álainn Ghaeltachta Ghleann Domhain, taobh le Gartán, ait bhreithe Naomh Colmcille.

Bunaíodh an scoil i 1899 agus bronnadh aitheantas scoileanna Gaeltachta ar an scoil i 2023.

Is ábhair dochais í an scoil seo don phobal anseo mar gheall go bhfuil an tumoideachas ag cur go mór le hathbheochan na Gaeilge.

Tá muid an-bhródúil as an méid atá bainte amach againn le chéile thar na mblianta. Tá muid fíor- bhuíoch do achan duine a oibríonn ar son na scoile,  agus tá súil againn go mbainfidh sibh taitneamh agus tairbhe as an suíomh geasán scoile seo.
